Welcome, fellow ice cream aficionados and corporate warriors. Here is the practical version of catering an ice cream bar at a company event: how many machines you need, what it costs, what has to be in the room, and how long it all takes.

How many people, how many machines

Our machines are double-barrel: two flavors plus a twist of both, all you can eat. Under about 150 people, one machine is normally the right call. Above that we work the number out with you, because headcount is only half the question — 200 people grazing over two hours is a very different job from 200 people on a thirty-minute break, and the second one needs more barrels.

Tell us the headcount and the serving window when you ask, and we will tell you what we would bring.

What it costs

Under 150 guests it is a flat $450 minimum — one machine, two flavors, cups, cones, spoons, napkins and six toppings included. From 150 guests up it moves to per-person packages, $2.10 to $3.50 depending on how far you want to go with toppings. Delivery, setup and pickup are included within 25 miles of Lehi, and it is $5 a mile beyond that. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Power, and where the machine can actually go

This is the part that catches people out in an office. A soft serve machine needs a real outlet, and the 240v one is rarely in the room you had in mind — it is usually in the kitchen, behind a dryer, or down in the basement. We bring the machine that matches whatever the building has, so a site with only ordinary 120v outlets is not a problem. If the building genuinely cannot carry what your headcount needs, we can bring a generator for $200, quoted before you book. How long it takes

We arrive about an hour before you want to be serving, set up, run it or leave it self-serve, then break down and clean up before we go. Nobody on your team lifts anything and nobody spends their afternoon washing a machine.

Flavors

Eleven Dole Soft Serve flavors — pineapple, orange, mango, raspberry, strawberry, peach, pomegranate, cherry, lemon, lime and watermelon — plus vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Two per machine, plus the twist. The Dole flavors are vegan, dairy free, gluten free and lactose free, which is the easy answer for the people in your office who normally have to skip dessert.

Self-serve, or we run it

Self-serve works, and people genuinely enjoy making their own. An attendant keeps the line moving and the toppings tidy, which is worth it for a big crowd or a short break.
